The Wright Medical Group first came to us in June because they were looking for a place to volunteer and they have been an absolute joy ever since! They came on a monthly basis and one of the volunteers from Wright, Amanda, suggested a gift giving campaign at their office.
They put up a tree in their office with ornaments labeled with specific resident needs and asked staff to choose an ornament to give some gifts for our residents. The gift exchange happened yesterday and we had so many happy residents! I guess it just takes the Wright kind of people to make some holiday happiness happen this year. Thank you Wright Medical Group!

It was a great honor to have these two brave Marines come to campus and share with us the mission of the Toys for Tots Campaign. They came to share with us their deep appreciation for our continued, unwavering support of their efforts. After they spoke about Toys for Tots, we were blessed with a very heartfelt poem depicting the loneliness that can occur during this time of year and how important it is to reach out to others to make them feel loved and cared for.
That's what Toys for Tots is all about, that's what Martin Luther Campus is all about, and that's what the spirit of the season is all about. The deadline to donate for Toys for Tots is December 20th at 2PM, but you can Start volunteering at Martin Luther Campus anytime. Happy Holidays! Check out all the fun we had last week at Meadow Woods Assisted Living. Between the string band, the festive decorations, and the tasty treats, the nearly 200 people that came to our celebration were welcomed back to the annual Home for the Holidays party. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to making this a memorable experience for so many families, friends, and residents. Happy Holidays!
